Summary and review of the linkages between indicators, models, sustainability goals, and policies
This report summarizes the various takeaways from the synthesis work to provide a state-of-the-art overview of the indicators of multidimensional and sustainable well-being and the use of beyond GDP policies. It evaluates how effectively the indicators, models, and policies achieve sustainability goals, highlighting areas of overlap and gaps where consensus is still lacking. The linkages between indicators, models, policies and goals are reviewed and synthesized. Lastly, the possible transition pathways from the current system to a sustainable and inclusive wellbeing system are reviewed.
