20 innovative and inpatient care facilities for the elderly are project partners
In the project "Sustainable Care for the Elderly", ZOE was able to win over more than 20 innovative lighthouse facilities for inpatient care for the elderly as interview and project partners. These are characterised by their forward-looking approaches to solutions with regard to employee participation, their innovative work and duty schedule design and their special management culture.
The “Sustainable Care” project identifies innovative inpatient care facilities for the elderly that want to create excellent working conditions for their nursing staff. On the one hand, these facilities are presented in a best-practice brochure published in cooperation with Elisabeth Scharfenberg, former care policy spokeswoman for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Bundestag. On the other hand, an exchange and networking workshop will take place in November, which will enable an exchange between the facility managers and other pioneers in their area. Together they develop and discuss possible political solutions. The positive response of managers to this workshop offer has been overwhelming. More than 80% of the institutions addressed have confirmed their participation. The results of this workshop and the brochure will be published at the end of the year. The project is jointly financed by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Heidehof Stiftung.
