Sebastian is a Research Assistant with the ZOE Institute for Future-fit Economies. His research expertise and work at ZOE focuses on energy transition and policy research at the nexus of economic policy and political economy. He also works on issues related to sustainable development (beyond GDP) and economic resilience. His work is driven by his passion to drive positive change towards a fast and just green transition.
Background
Sebastian completed his Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at the University of Stirling. He is an award-winning political economist and Erasmus Mundus Scholar currently studying the Economics of Globalisation and European Integration Master (EGEI). Throughout his academic career, Sebastian specialised in the economics and political economy of climate change and energy transitions. Before joining ZOE as an intern and later research assistant, he also worked with the BiGGAR Economics Consultancy (Scotland) as an Economic Research Intern.
