Focus
As a Policy Advisor at ZOE, Margareta focuses on industrial policy, more specifically on industry decarbonization and the regional potential of electrification in Europe. Her wide-ranging interests and areas of expertise encompass a just energy transition, EU integration, as well as regional development.
Background
Prior to joining ZOE in early 2025, Margareta worked at a Regional Development Agency, contributing to strategic policy documents on energy transition and supporting project development. Margareta also gained experience in an industry association, deepening her knowledge of EU affairs, clean technologies, and the energy sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe.
