Joshua is a researcher at ZOE. He joined the team in December 2022. He is passionate about the energy transition, which he is working on in projects related to the socially just phase-out of fossil fuel dependency. The topic allows him to apply his experience in the energy sector in research as well as industry.
Background
Joshua focused his studies in industrial engineering at TU Berlin in energy economics. In 2019, he published his master's thesis in the New and Renewable Energy program at Durham University (UK). He then continued his research work at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in the field of Energy Communities. In recent years, Joshua gained industry experience in electric mobility as a business development manager for distributed energy systems.
