Cecilia was a project lead at ZOE, focusing on sustainable transformation with a particular emphasis on energy policy. She was particularly interested in the justice and security dimensions of cross-border energy projects. Moreover, she possessed comprehensive expertise in law, economics, and political analysis.

Background

Cecilia is currently a PhD Researcher in Energy Security and Energy Justice at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex. She has acted as an international Policy Consultant in mobility and energy policy in Latin America. Prior to that she was a Blue Book trainee at the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (European Commission) in Brussels. She has also acted as a consultant in the private sector in international investment and regulatory affairs. Cecilia holds a Masters degree in Public Economics, Law, and Politics from the Leuphana University in Lüneburg, focusing on energy transition policies formulation. She completed her bachelor studies in Law at the University of Asunción (Paraguay) and the KU Leuven (Belgium).
