Nora worked at ZOE as a trainee in Governance and Policy Design. She engaged with topics of environmental justice and participatory processes as a member of the project "Rethinking governance in the EU," which focuses on co-creative approaches to policy-making. Previously, she served as an intern in the Economic Resilience project, where she worked on the Economic Resilience Index.
Background
Nora holds a B.A. in Economics from the American University in Cairo and just finished her Master's in Environmental Governance at the University of Freiburg. During her studies, she did an internship on Just Transitions in the automotive sector in the EU at NELA. Her master's thesis focused on environmental justice in urban planning in Cairo. Moreover, she has four years of experience in market research in Egypt.
