Focus
Halina is pursuing her career interests in progressive policy development and coalition building by joining the New Economy Space project, which relies on co-creative approaches for policy design. The 'New Economy Space' is one of ZOE’s newer projects, which aims to convene a network of actors that drive meaningful change on various fronts for a socio-ecological transformation.
Background
Halina received a Master’s Degree in Community & Regional Planning and a B.Sc. degree in Global Resource Systems from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to joining ZOE, she worked for the German development cooperation, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and an NGO in British Columbia, Canada in aspects of climate & ecological planning, youth engagement, and sustainable development. She has taken part in various pieces of training in facilitation, conflict resolution, intercultural relations, and/or movement building from UBC, Indigenous Corporate Training Inc., Sunrise Movement, and Partners for Youth Empowerment.
