Andreas Siemoneit is a physicist and industrial engineer. He works as a software architect and consultant in Berlin. Since 2011 he has been intensively involved with growth criticism and its theoretical foundations. His main project is the work on an anthropology of the economic and political process, with a focus on the role of moral intuition, a current field of research in social psychology. Since 2014 he has been an active member of the scientific working group "Wachstumszwang" of the Vereinigung für Ökologische Ökonomie e.V. (Association for Ecological Economics). He is a member of the board of directors and managing director of the "Förderverein Wachstumswende" and regularly gives lectures on the topic of growth critique.
